We are Ninjas in Pyjamas, probably the world's most legendary esports team.

Born in 2000 with Counter-Strike in our blood, we have pioneered the esports scene since its inception. We earned our stripes by competing at the very top level across almost a dozen game titles and we never lose — we only win or learn.

Our vision is to bring gaming culture to a world without boundaries.

What You’ll do:

  • Build and maintain the company's community and engaging audiences on different platforms and social media.

  • Track relevant community metrics such as community demographics, such as interests in different activities to better understand their needs and expectations towards NIP.

  • Knowledge of social media engines and online platforms where these communities exist.

  • Make sure all messaging across the networks is consistent with the NIP branding. Boost brand awareness.

  • Create long term strategies for the community and position oneself as a positive part of the community.

  • Set, plan and implement social media and communication campaigns and strategies.

  • Enforce community rules and lead the fans in a positive manner.

  • Engage with the online community and respond to comments and requests.

  • Grow NIP’s social following through various strategies, increase fan engagement as well as drive in, welcome and retain new fans.

  • Project management skills are used mainly to create activities for the fans such as giveaways or tournaments and watch parties.

  • Monitor and report on feedback from the community.

  • Communicate between the relevant departments in the company. Stay updated on new marketing initiatives, product and service developments, and to ensure brand consistency.

  • Attend networking events or relevant industry workshops.

Job requirements

Who You Are:

  • You have 3+ years of experience as Community Manager

  • You have a genuine love and interest for games and the communities surrounding them

  • You have a great understanding of NIP’s community and fan base

  • You are comfortable working across all social media platforms such as Reddit, YouTube, Discord, Twitter etc. in a B2C environment (know how to speak the ‘language’ on each social platform)

  • You have great organizational skills and are able to create structured plans for activities.

  • You have excellent event management skills.

  • Experience setting up and growing communities at various stages of their lifecycle

  • You are excellent communication and conflict management skills

  • You have experience coordinating and managing the content (images and videos) across all relevant platforms

  • You are fluent in english and preferably Swedish

  • You can work independently on identified objectives with minimal guidance.

  • You are a team player at heart and always seek to fight as one (Ninja Style)

  • You strive to get to higher levels and you welcome feedback that helps you grow
